Celebrating the life of
Stephen Palmer Walsh, Jr.
October 06, 1981 - August 24, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Palmer Walsh Jr., beloved son, brother and uncle, at the age of 41. Stephen was born on October 6th, 1981, in Augsburg, Germany to Adrianne Walsh and Stephen Walsh Sr. and moved around the country as his father was a career officer in the Army. Eventually settling in Port Orange, Florida, he attended Spruce Creek High School and the University of Florida. Stephen remained in Gainesville, FL, after college and became a fixture in the city’s restaurant industry for the past 20 years. Passionate about the arts and animal rescue, he was known for his kind and generous heart and beautiful soul. Stephen was an amazing son, brother, uncle and friend and was loved by so many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We have comfort in knowing that he is resting in perfect peace with the Lord, our Father. May Stephen’s memory be a blessing to us all.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at St. James Catholic Church. Entombment will be at 2:00, in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
